About This Recipe
Kitchen King Masala is a versatile spice blend that brings depth, warmth and rich aroma to everyday vegetable dishes. Annam Satvik Kitchen King Masala makes it easy to prepare a flavourful homemade curry while keeping the preparation simple and suitable for a Satvik kitchen.
Ingredients
• Mixed vegetables – 3 cups, cut into bite-sized pieces
• Tomato – 2 medium, finely chopped or pureed
• Ginger – 1 tsp, finely grated
• Curd – 2 tbsp
• Annam Satvik Kitchen King Masala – 2 tsp
• Turmeric Powder – ¼ tsp
• Mild Red Chilli Powder – ½ tsp
• Cumin Powder – ½ tsp
• Salt – to taste
• Ghee or cooking oil – 1½ tbsp
• Fresh coriander – for garnish
• Water – as required
How to Prepare
1. Prepare the vegetables
Wash and cut the vegetables into evenly sized bite-sized pieces so they cook evenly.
2. Prepare the base
Heat ghee or cooking oil in a pan. Add finely grated ginger and sauté gently until aromatic.
3. Add the tomatoes
Add chopped or pureed tomatoes and cook until they become soft and the mixture thickens.
4. Add the spices
Add turmeric powder, mild red chilli powder, cumin powder and Annam Satvik Kitchen King Masala. Mix well and cook for 1–2 minutes on low heat.
5. Add the vegetables
Add the prepared vegetables and mix well so they are evenly coated with the aromatic spice mixture.
6. Add curd and cook
Lower the heat and add the curd gradually while stirring continuously. Add enough water to achieve your preferred gravy consistency. Cover and simmer gently until the vegetables are tender.
7. Finish and serve
Adjust the salt and consistency. Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot with roti, naan, rice, or your favourite Satvik accompaniment.
Serving Suggestions
Serve Kitchen King Masala hot with roti, naan, paratha, steamed basmati rice or jeera rice. It also pairs beautifully with a simple Satvik salad or vegetable side dish.
Satvik Tip: Cook the vegetables gently and avoid overcooking them. This helps retain their natural texture while allowing the Kitchen King Masala to release its rich aroma and balanced flavour.
